Over the two-month “2,001 before the first 2001” initiative over 2,800 new members joined.
Alumni and fans have once again showed their incredible generosity as over 2,800 new Gamecock Club members joined during our quest for 2,001 new members before the first 2001 entrance at Williams-Brice Stadium. The “2,001 before the first 2001” initiative ran from July 14 through the first 2001 vs. Kentucky on September 16th. The philanthropy of all Gamecock Club members supports the academic and athletic endeavors of all 500 Gamecock student-athletes. This includes scholarships, room and board, access to medical care, life skills programs, tutoring and more. Without the support of Gamecock Club members, none of this would be possible.
Members that joined during this initiative were eligible to win pregame sideline passes for the Louisiana Tech game on September 23. Winners will be notified by Wednesday, September 20th.
